Chingón, our pandemic passion project, was born out of a need for normalcy in a rapidly changing world. After more than a decade of working in fast paced, high energy restaurants the unexpected closure of our respective restaurants shook us to the core. Cooking for and hosting others has always been our love language and without it, a piece of us was missing. We launched Chingón as a way to keep our minds and hands busy. Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined the outpouring of love and support we received from our community.

It is important to give credit where credit is due. Chingón was built with the help of immigrants who came before us and the people whose food we have the honor to cook. Learning the history behind the food we are serving is equally as important as the flavor. We respect the cuisine by taking care in our practices, thoughtfully sourcing our ingredients and never cutting corners.

Community is the heartbeat of Chingón. Giving back to our neighbors both near and far will always the center of our mission.
